MINDFUL BREATHING
This space is a reminder to return to yourself through the simplest, most powerful tool you have: your breath.
You don’t need a mat, a mantra, or a perfect morning routine. Just a moment to pause. Whether you're feeling untethered while traveling, or in need of stillness between adventures, these resources are here to help you slow down, soften, and come home to yourself = one breath at a time.
When I first created Wander to Breathe, I had just completed my 500-hour yoga teacher training and was teaching Yin Yoga in Salt Lake City. Even—or especially—as a yoga teacher, I’ve had a complicated relationship with certain practices, such as Power Yoga. But the one thing that has always felt simple, true, and accessible is the breath.
Breathing is at the heart of every mindful practice. It’s something we all have access to—anytime, anywhere. Whether you're on a yoga mat or in the middle of a long travel day, the breath can bring you back to yourself.
While I’m not currently teaching yoga full-time, mindful breathing continues to be a powerful anchor in my own life and travels.
This video is part of a beginner-friendly series I created called You and Yoga. It focuses solely on the breath, and is a practice you can easily do at any time and anywhere.
If you're curious about exploring beyond that, there are four additional videos available in the series.
Introduction to Belly Breathing
This video is part of a free beginner series I created called You & Yoga, that is designed to help you reconnect with your body and breath in simple, practical ways. This first video focuses only on breathwork, but the full series is below if you’re interested in moving beyond the breath.
